Have a friend of a family member who loves to sail? Or maybe a retired Navy man? Why not give them a shadow box with nautical knots and pictures of sail boats made just for them. They can use a nautical shadow box to dress up their office or den. It can remind them of great times on their boat or memories of serving their country. Shadow boxes frames can be covered with glass to better protect what you have placed inside.
